Our founders are dedicated to providing the best coffee experience for those who defend and live our shared values every day. We believe that through cohesion and mutual support, our everyday heroes can overcome any challenge. Our coffee is not just a pleasure, but a ritual that brings comfort and strength to those who need it most.
We use a traditional method of roasting using an open flame with different types of wood which creates unique flavors. With this distinct method it takes the bitterness out of the coffee and makes it smooth. We also don't take any shortcuts like other coffee companies. All of our coffee beans are specialty grade, mold tested, and we use real ingredients ground up into our coffee. It might cost more but we believe the coffee will speak for itself. It's DAMN GOOD COFFEE.

It does not. Just the barrel aged coffee is aged in bourbon, scotch or rum barrels. We roast the coffee after the aging process and that leaves no alcohol.

Every roast we have is fresh, you will usually receive it within a week after it's roasted. Coffee generally needs to rest after roasting to allow the flavors to develop and the carbon dioxide to dissipate, which can otherwise negatively impact the taste. Most experts recommend a rest period of at least 12-24 hours, but some coffees, especially light roasts, may benefit from resting for several days or even weeks.
It all depends how strong you like your coffee. We recommend starting at a heaping tablespoon per 6 oz cup.
This basic method will produce a delicious cold brew concentrate that you can dilute to your liking. We call this the immersion method.
1 - 1 Cup of ground coffee
2 - 4 Cups of water
Troubleshooting - You can always use a higher coffee to water ratio if it's to weak. Most cold brew coffee makers come in 1/2 Gallon or Gallon.
Steps -
1. Use a cold brew coffee maker (you can find a simple and easy one on amazon). Pour the grounds into the filter, then add water.
2. Now put it in the fridge and let it steep. You can experiment with different steep times. Longer steeps (up to 24 hours) can produce a stronger brew, while shorter steeps (12-18 hours) might result in a lighter, more nuanced flavor.
Now you have an amazing cold brew from VOFA Roastery.
